Comedian Eugene Mirman Injured in Fiery New Hampshire Crash, Rescuers Credited With Saving His Life

Comedian and actor Eugene Mirman is recovering after a serious car accident in Bedford, New Hampshire that left his vehicle engulfed in flames.

Officials from the New Hampshire State Police said the crash happened just before noon on Tuesday when Mirman’s electric vehicle struck a toll plaza. The impact caused the car to catch fire, creating a dangerous situation that required immediate action.

A state trooper assigned to Governor Kelly Ayotte’s security detail, along with two bystanders, managed to pull Mirman from the burning vehicle. Authorities praised their response, calling it a life-saving effort carried out under extreme conditions.

Mirman’s representative confirmed he suffered serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment. In a statement, he expressed appreciation for first responders and those who assisted at the scene, while asking for privacy during his recovery.
