Former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has paid a permanent tribute to two members of his inner circle following a fatal road accident in Nigeria late last year.
Joshua, 36, recently had the names “LATZ” and “SINA” tattooed beneath the outline of Africa on his right bicep, honoring strength and conditioning coach Sina Ghami and trainer Latif “Latz” Ayodele.
Both men died on December 29, 2025, when the Lexus SUV carrying Joshua collided with a stationary truck along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.
According to Nigeria’s Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the vehicle was suspected to have been traveling above the legal speed limit at the time of the crash.
Joshua survived with minor injuries and later returned to the United Kingdom, where he attended both funerals.
Images shared by Fulham Tattoo London showed the boxer receiving the tribute in what the studio described as an unannounced visit.
