Gabrielle N. Eure Obituary
Gabrielle N. Eure has died at age of 30, in Syracuse, NY. Her parents, Pastor Erik Eure and Dr. Twiggy M. Eure, announced her passing in a message shared through their church community, prompting an outpouring of condolences across central New York.
Gabrielle, affectionately known as “Gabbie” to friends, was closely connected to Promise & Purpose Church, where members described her as “a beautiful light” and a cherished presence.
In a statement, the church urged continued prayer for the Eure family, asking for strength, peace, and collective support as the community mourns together.
Friends and loved ones echoed those sentiments online.
Michael Leone, a close friend, described Gabrielle as someone whose presence changed lives in quiet but lasting ways. “She introduced me to my wife,” he wrote, calling their bond irreplaceable.
“The loss to us, our friends, her family, and the Syracuse community is unmeasurable.” Family members, including cousin Amber Washington-David, shared similar grief, describing the loss as surreal and devastating.Local faith leaders note that Gabrielle’s passing has resonated beyond her immediate circle because of the way she lived openly, generously, and with purpose.
“When someone is deeply rooted in community, their absence is felt everywhere,” said a Syracuse-based pastor familiar with the Eure family.
“People are grieving not just who she was, but what she represented.”
